First solo exhibition of Rina Balkan, starting her odyssey of sculpture works, starting with the passion of shaping clay by synthesizing varying techniques and materials, displayed at Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery between May 25th and June 25th, 2022.
During Rina Balkan‟s ongoing exhibition at Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery, another work of the artist with a height of 180 cm created by using mixed technique has displayed at Turkish Bank Harbiye VK1, in parallel to the exhibition.
The Work Exhibited is titled “Mother Earth”, the core of creation, signifying giving birth, nurturing and growing up, protecting, forgiveness and personification of life itself.
Any audience acquainted with Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery most probably has attended the opening of a Nadide Akdeniz, Komet or Fulya Asyalı exhibition or was informed about such exhibitions via printed or social media. Till now the gallery had a substantial influence on the careers of more than 150 artists and while on one side sharing periodic works of experienced artists with the public, on the other side assisted numerous young artists in becoming visible. While a multitude of works joined the information network in the history of art though printed or digital media, many others claimed their places in significant collections.
Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery took part in Scope New York Art Show between March 02 and 06, 2017 with an installation titled “Istanbul’s Cabinet of Curiosities”, comprising of the works of 32 contemporary Turkish artists.
